BUT WHERE WILL THE WOKESTERS GO AFTER GRADUATION? Call to favor ‘skills’ over sheepskins in federal hiring.
SEEN ONLINE: "In the coming New Year, 2022, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address will occur on the same day. This is an ironic juxtaposition of events. One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to an insignificant creature of little intelligence for prognostication. The other involves a groundhog."

Timing is everything....
YEAH, RIGHT. Ammo Grrrll assures us that "this time it will work for sure!"
FILE UNDER 'THEY HATE US BECAUSE WE WON'T OBEY': Bless their little authoritarian hearts, Democrats support punishing the unvaccinated.
THE PUSHBACK CONTINUES: Minnesota backs off on race discrimination.
WHAT ISSUE was at the heart of the Civil War and is it relevant today?

It wasn't slavery, and today it's more relevant than ever.
HYPOCRISY UNLIMITED: Democrats pause angry demands to end the filibuster in order to filibuster Ted Cruz's Nord Stream 2 sanctions bill.

Red State also noticed.
VICTORY GIRLS: 'Mass formation psychosis' is merely moral panic on the part of the Left.
TEN STATISTICS that will ruin your day. Numbers 3 and 10 bother me.
WILL YOUR COLLEGE DEGREE be a good investment?

Probably not, unless it's skills-related.

And even then, at the graduate (masters/doctorate) level, it's probably iffy. Many years ago I looked into the cost/benefit of my own graduate degrees. The masters degree was net positive in that I was able to qualify for a job I wanted, the doctorate was net negative, to the tune of about $80K in then-year dollars. (But then, I can, if I wish, call myself Dr. So-and-so.)

Even today I see data that indicates a PhD is still a net negative except as an entry ticket into certain professions, or (as in my case) proof that I could climb that intellectual mountain.

Added thought: If you think of your degree -- especially a bachelor's degree -- as a door opener and not much else, you can't go far wrong.
IT'S BACK: Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.
IT'S A GREAT DAY FOR AMERICA; not so much for Biden.
MULTIPLE DRIVERS carjacked in broad daylight in midtown Manhattan.

Well, why not? You can't shoot them, and even if they're caught they'll be back out on the street in hours.
SENATE REPUBLICAN LEADER fact-checks President Biden:
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell delivered the following remarks yesterday on the Senate floor regarding President Biden’s speech in Atlanta the day before. In part, McConnell fact-checks Biden. In part, he criticizes the sense and sensibility of Biden’s remarks. I think McConnell’s speech is as good or better than any of the columns I have seen exposing the disgusting demagogy and outrageous falsehoods of Biden’s speech.
Biden is a terrible President and the (progressive) Democrats are garbage people.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PUT IDIOTS IN CHARGE: Washington state refuses help from unvaccinated county workers to clear snow affecting supply chain.
ANOTHER RECORD FOR THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION:
From zero to minus 31 in less than a year. That's quite an 'achievement'....

UPDATE: He's even beating my modest expectations....
HUBRIS, MEET NEMESIS: Politicizing COVID from the start.
Politicizing the pandemic is a euphemism. In truth, thousands of Americans have died needlessly because of weaponized disinformation about China's culpability, vaccines, useful drugs, lockdowns, racial preferences, and long-care facilities.
It's Victor Davis Hanson. Read it all.
IS BOTH AN OPTION? Is Kamala Harris really dumb or really dishonest?

After reading the post, I have to go with 'both'.
ECHOING MY LONG-HELD BELIEF: Forget easier, we need to make it harder to vote. Morons, imbeciles, idiots and progressives should be discouraged from voting.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT IN EDUCATION, the Democrats’ Achilles’ heel.

I looked for GOP talking points for the 2022 midterms, and what I found were inflation, rising crime and illegal immigration as major issues. I would suggest that an issue that the Republicans Stupid Party should hammer on in the midterms is education (parental involvement, vouchers, CRT, mandatory masking and vaccination of students, remote 'learning', etc.).

Unless we take back education, the America we know and love is doomed.
