MALLARD FILLMORE has has a run on cartoons featuring feral chihuahuas lately and the comments have been interesting with the 'feral chihuahuas' being variously interpreted as Islamists, gun owners, and illegal (child) immigrants, among others.
Me, I see 'feral chihuahuas' as a descriptor for the progressive strain of liberalism.

HOT AIR: DHS releasing illegal immigrant future Democrat families from Central America into U.S. — but won’t say how many.
It's safe to say that most, if not all, will never be repatriated to their home countries.

EXPECTEDLY: NTSB cites over-reliance on automated systems in Asiana crash. If this surprises you, it shouldn't. For example, over-reliance on automation was cited for the Air France crash in the Atlantic ocean a few years back, and anyone who has been driving since before the mandatory 'safety' laws (i.e., seat belts, air bags, anti-lock brakes, center-mounted stoplights, etc., etc.) knows that the 'safer' the vehicle becomes the less safe the driver becomes. Here's an example coming soon to a highway near you.
HIGHER 'EDUCATION': What that $1+ trillion student debt is being spent on. It ain't education. You can click on the charts to enlarge them, but what they (and some very simple math) tell me is that the numbers of and salaries of tenured or tenure-track professors has barely stayed above (<1%) inflation over the last 25 years. The rest of that 1+ trillion dollars has gone for ... well, has gone.
DEMOCRATS: oblivious to the obvious. "When you raise taxes dramatically and roll out tons of burdensome regulations, a contracting economy is only a surprise if you’re an idiot. Or a member of this Administration and the press. But I repeat myself."
RESTORATION MY ENVIRONMENT: Live your life to the fullest by paying someone else to suck up your carbon footprint.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) challenges Senate Democrats on bill to repeal First Amendment: "I have more faith in the Bill of Rights than I do any elected official."
A PHONY AND A HYPOCRITE: Sen. Harry Reid Declines Invitation to Redskins Game While Team ‘Disparages the American People’.
Dan Snyder should take Harry Reid up on his refusal and offer Reid's seat to the tribal leaders of Nevada's 27 tribes.
