Following my Master's degree I worked briefly at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory on the Voyager telecommunications system before returning to finish up my doctorate. My dissertation is based on some of the work I did there.

It's still hard to believe that I have since retired and the Voyager spacecraft have not.
