A lot of smart people are working on this, and we still see the same mistakes over and over. The "notion" that human behavior can be re-engineered is "probably wrong'.

It always starts out as a technology problem and ends as something else. Often the technology is the smallest part of the problem.

They might, if they conclude that more technology isn't the answer. My bet is they won't.

As this country continues to degenerate, we hope that it never reaches the desperate stage where only a military coup can rescue it from catastrophes created by feckless politicians. But, if that day ever arrives, we can only hope that the military will do their duty and step in. It is one of the few institutions dedicated to something besides individual self-interest.

I don't agree with all of Sowell's thoughts in this Townhall column, but he's always worth reading.

A professor recently wrote a candid essay in which she confessed a secret: she didn't want to write a letter of recommendation for a student, solely because this student has different views (presumably) about gun rights.

Arrogant, intolerant, and oblivious to her biases (and how destructive they are), she is everything that is wrong with modern higher education.

Instapundit has what I think is a simple solution to the SJW liberal bias in higher education: make the university responsible for repayment of student loan debt. Don't think they can afford it? Think again. Those numbers are billions (with a 'B').

I'd add just one tiny refinement: make the department granting the degree responsible for payback. Then sit back and watch the number of SJW degree-granting departments plummet.
