FALLING LEAVES, EPISODE VIII: Here's the usual first picture of the pond, and my, how the leaves have fallen since last week.
Fall has definitely fallen in north Georgia. There's still green visible, but the green is all pine. Not much brown either; those leaves are all on the ground.
This second picture is one I rarely attempt; it's the steep slope on the south side of the house. It's so heavily covered with brush that visibility is practically nil, even in winter.
But the cold and high winds earlier in the week have pretty much killed off/cleared the brush enough that you can almost see the creek down below.
This final picture is of the north side of the house.
Like the previous picture, the cold and winds have pretty much killed off and cleared the brush, although I did do a lot of brush cutting last year.
