SENATOR JOHN FETTERMAN [D-PA] dropped a very unapologetic patriotic Fourth of July post and took a swipe at members of his own party for their lack of pride in America.

The Democratic Socialists need to take note of what a real Democrat looks like.

With that note, normal blogging will resume on Saturday.
250 YEARS OF FREEDOM: A Republic to honor and celebrate.
ARMSTRONG WILLIAMS: What we celebrate on the Fourth.
MYRNA FLORES: A proud immigrant's call to celebrate freedom on Independence Day.
CHARLES GLASSER: Today is the real 'No Kings' day.

God bless the USA.
BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC: U.S. Army field band.
VIDEO: The vote to declare independence.
THESE TRUTHS REMAIN ETERNAL: Instapundit (via Ed Driscoll) also quotes President Calvin Coolidge.
JULY 4, 1776: The REAL ‘No Kings’ Day.

Democrats not excepted....
AMMO GRRRLL also wants the original.
THE ETERNAL MEANING OF INDEPENDENCE DAY
Future President Abraham Lincoln spoke on the 102nd anniversary in 1858.
If they [new arrivals] look back through this history to trace their connection with those days by blood, they find they have none, they cannot carry themselves back into that glorious epoch and make themselves feel that they are part of us, but when they look through that old Declaration of Independence they find that those old men say that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,” and then they feel that that moral sentiment taught in that day evidences their relation to those men, that it is the father of all moral principle in them, and that they have a right to claim it as though they were blood of the blood, and flesh of the flesh of the men who wrote that Declaration [loud and long continued applause], and so they are. That is the electric cord in that Declaration that links the hearts of patriotic and liberty-loving men together, that will link those patriotic hearts as long as the love of freedom exists in the minds of men throughout the world.
Calvin Coolidge celebrated the 150th anniversary in 1926.
If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions.
Words to remember as this year passes.
INDEPENDENCE DAY 2025: Republicans vs. Democrats.

Despite the Democrats, the American dream is back.
NOT-S0-RANDOM THOUGHT: Today is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. More to come....
WE SHOULD BE THRILLED that Joe Biden is back home on the beach in Delaware and Kamala is wandering around somewhere in California.
