FOX BUSINESS: Learn from your tax filing mistakes.
I'm amused by the 'start early' advice: "If you thrive on the adrenaline rush of filing your taxes at 11:59 pm on April 15th, we suggest finding a less risky method of getting your kicks." Since I plan on always owing money, the adrelaline rush of filing at 11:59 pm comes from knowing that I've kept the final payment from that den of thieves until the very last instant.
One thing: the IRS 'credits and deductions' website is always worth a visit. Over the years I've used every one of the "poor man's loopholes" I could legitimately take; this year I'll add the 14 cents/mile in service of charitable organizations deduction, which I haven't had the opportunity to use in years.

BALTIMORE: parental guidance suggested. Strongly suggested. And here's the parent. She deserves 'Mother of the Year' and that's one very lucky kid.
A LOT OF FOLKS can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in our country.
Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely geographical.
Our oil is located in Alaska, California, coastal Florida, coastal Louisiana, coastal Alabama, coastal Mississippi, Texas, North Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania.
Our dipstick is located in the White House.
Any questions?
