TEXAS LAWMAKERS want apology to entire state after [Rep. Alcee] Hastings calls it ‘crazy state’.

Just to remind you, Hastings represents Florida's 20th district (Ft. Lauderdale). He was impeached by Congress and removed from office as a federal judge in 1989. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1992 after the Senate mistakenly did not ban him for ever running again for any federal office.

I suspect Hastings is in for a rude surprise. "Don't Mess With Texas" isn't the official state motto (yet), but it may as well be.
