2025 SPRING LEAVES, WEEK 9: It appears that my spring 'poof day' is not to be this year. The weather here this spring has been so weird that the vegetation has gotton so confused that it doesn't know when to wake up. Here's an example.

I assumed this tree, and one other located nearby, were dead -- until they just started to bud a few days ago.

Looking across the street, the grass is greening nicely and the iris are growing well (having given up their first flowers). but the trees have lagged behind. Most are filled out now, but there are many in the background that have just begun to flesh out.

Our pond is beginning to hide behind the tulip magnolia and the ground cover, but the tree crowns on both sides of the pond have just begun to flesh out with leaves. Even some of the pine trees are sparse this year.

The barn/firepit area is looking a lot more 'summery'; even so, there is still a sparseness in the leaves at the tops of the trees.

The ferns along our retaining wall in back have gone from almost nothing to full growth.

And our house has almost returned to it's summer glory. Notice, though, that the trees behind the house are still sparse.

As I've argued before, AI is only as smart and unbiased as the ones who program it. That's not saying much for Meta....
