MINE WERE 'PRE-WRECKED' BY BIDEN'S LOUSY ECONOMY: Airline labor shortages may wreck your summer travel plans.
TWO FAVORITES from this week's edition of PowerLine's Week in Pictures. Here they are:
Now go see the rest. They're good.
IT WOULD BE HELPFUL if Leftists like President Biden and New York Governor Kathy Hochul read an occasional history book.
THE SECOND AMENDMENT IS ALIVE AND WELL, so we'll tax it to death.

My Congressman, Andrew Clyde, has responded with a counterproposal to eliminate federal excise taxes on firearms and ammunition because no American should ever be taxed on their enumerated rights, on the theory that if the government can tax an individual's constitutional right, it's not really a right at all.

I find his logic appealing.
AMMO GRRRLL writes on the new bipartisan (unfortunately), unconstitutional, much-worse-than-useless Gun Control Act.
EUGENE VOLOKH AT REASON: How should courts evaluate gun regulations after Bruen?
THIS IS THE 'TOLERANT' LEFT on gun control.
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Why the Left will cut Biden loose in 2024.

I know they want to, but can they?
KURT SCHLICHTER: The case against Donald Trump 2024.

Schlichter also wrote on the case for Donald Trump earlier this month.

After reading the for and against, my conclusion is that Trump proved to be a great President, America is better off because of him, and would probably be even better off after a second term. But -- and this is a big but -- he would be fought tooth-and-nail by the Deep State establishment for the full four years of his second term.

I will certainly vote for him if he chooses to run, but I hope he chooses instead to let Trump-without-the-mean-tweets (Ron DeSantis) run in his place and concentrate his efforts on finding and supporting Trumpian conservatives at the Congressional, state, and even local levels to build a solid conservative bench for the future.

That would be a worthy legacy.
JANUARY 6 COMMITTEE delaying hearings until July due to ‘additional work’.

I was going to say that obviously they're going to delay until just before the mid-term elections, but no, they chose to double down on insane.
