SOME FINAL THOUGHTS ABOUT RUSH LIMBAUGH from Victor Davis Hanson.
My thought: Maybe Limbaugh was 'called home' because he is no longer needed here. I had a somewhat similar thought a few years back when my mother died. Her memorial service was on a cloudy, dreary, almost rainy day but by the time I drove home that night the sky had cleared and the moon and stars shone brightly, and I felt like she was telling me "I'm home now. You've learned enough; it's your turn to carry on."
Perhaps that's the message we should take from Rush's passing.
THE DAM IS BREAKING. Are mask mandates crumbling?
Weirdly, many of the states that require masks are taking an anti-science line toward them. They, with help from the ever-unreliable federal government, are promoting the idea that even after you get vaccinated, you still have to wear a mask. Not to protect yourself, but to protect others. How you can transmit a disease you don’t have to someone else remains a mystery.I hope the mandate crumbles, but it will take our support -- refuse to wear a mask.
“EQUALITY ACT” PASSED HOUSE AGAIN – here are the problems and the fools who voted for it.
It's in the Senate now. With luck -- and the filibuster -- it won't pass.

REP. LAUREN BOEBERT [R-CO] exposes the Cruz Cancun hysterics for the frauds they are.
And you wonder why the legacy media is called the Fake News media?
World News Tonight [ABC] covered Cuomo’s nursing home scandal for a total of 54 seconds following the news of the federal probe — after two days of refusing to mention the scandal at all. Yet the show found a full three minutes and 28 seconds to discuss Ted Cruz’s horrible optics. All the news we believe you should be allowed to know....
Yes, a legacy media news outlet gave the Ted Cruz “scandal” nearly four times the coverage (3.85 times, to be precise) that it gave to Cuomo’s career-destroying scandal.
And you wonder why the legacy media is called the Fake News media?
MASKS TODAY, masks tomorrow, masks forever.
You think it's over? Think again. The Fauci fascists won't give up easily.

SUFFOLK POLL: Nearly half GOP would leave for a new Trump party.
Tell me something I don't know.
Republican donors aim to move the party away from Trump's influence. It won't happen. The GOPe (establishment) can remain in our party, but in the leadership? No. No way.
Tread carefully, GOP squishes. We're watching. And we vote.

BECAUSE IT DESTROYS THE NARRATIVE? Johns Hopkins Medical School Professor wonders why no one is talking about the 77% decline in new China virus cases.
Since I no longer trust either of the two national sources I've been using (one of which quit tracking March 7th. Because the pandemic is over? Or because it's no longer needed?)
Here's a year's worth of Georgia hospitalization data that confirms Dr. Makary's assertion that hospitalizations are down steeply and suddenly. The winter peak was in mid-January; hospitalizations today are down over 70% from the peak. This second chart is of reported coronavirus cases on a daily basis. The peak was in early January, about 10 days before the hospitalizations peaked. Note that there are actually two curves, one for confirmed; the second for confirmed plus 'probable'. Probables are consistently about 1/3 of the total, and were introduced 4 November 2010, about the time of the presidential election, ostensibly because of the introduction of rapid test kits. That may be, but personally I suspect it was -- and is -- to keep the pandemic alive.
