SEATTLE’S descent into Hell.
WUHAN FLU [CORONAVIRUS] UPDATE for July 21, 2020:

It's been an interesting few days. Cumulative deaths are still rising; daily deaths are up, but stabilizing.

My estimate of the number of uninfected Americans and the daily death rate both continue to decline, now at 32.596% and 0.0650% respectively.

Georgia remains open but, I fear, not for much longer. The number of confirmed cases remains high (~3,400) but the real news is a dramatic spike in daily deaths (78 today) although it's most likely just late reporting of deaths over the weekend.
A CLEVER WAY to get the Black Lives Matter paintings off the streets.

Except that it requires an administration with a modest respect for its citizens; something that is not exactly a hallmark of Democrat-run cities.
BY THE NUMBERS: Whither coronavirus?
Are we going to see this cycle of shutdowns and spiking “cases,” the vast majority of which are harmless, for years to come?

I think we will -– unless, of course, Joe Biden wins in November. In that case, I expect that coronavirus hysteria will quietly fade away. People will still get sick, and a few of them, generally the aged and infirm, will die. But for the government and the press, it will be back to business as usual. And maybe someday there will be an effective and widely deployed vaccine. Don’t hold your breath. Meanwhile, I am not yet convinced that the net effect of governments’ anti-COVID actions, at all levels, has been, or will be, positive.
Even a guarantee that the pandemic will go away isn't enough to entice me to vote for Biden.
IMPRIMIS: Four months of unprecedented government malfeasance.
