WALKER WINS BIG! With about 40% of the precincts reporting, Walker and his Lt. Gov. are steadily holding about 60% of the vote. Compared to the earlier exit polling, I'd have to say that a fairly large number of union members lied to the media about who they voted for -- and given the level of union thuggery we've watched over the past few months, I don't blame them for relying on the anonymity of the voting booth.
119% VOTER TURNOUT in Madison, Wisconsin. That must be where the buses from Minnesota and Michigan are going ....
JAMES LILEKS gives Mayor Bloomberg and his acolytes a well-deserved kick in the arse. Instapundit uses a 2x4 on the other end:
These people are not well-meaning do-gooders who have just gone a bit too far. They don’t actually 'mean well' at all. They don’t mean well, they mean to be in control. They are power-fetishists, drunk on the joys of bossing the little people around. They are not good people. They are evil. They should be ashamed of themselves, but shame — like taxes — is for the little people.
Bravo!
BE A FRIEND OF OBAMA and opt out of onerous regulations.
THERE ARE liars, damned liars, and Democrats.
LOOK! Another shiny object for the media.
SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIVE IN A STATE to vote in it? Not if you're a Democrat ....
CHICAGO, WE HAVE A PROBLEM. Obama expectations turned upside down.

This one may not be recoverable.
THE LEFT'S ASSAULT on free speech and conscience.
I'M SAFE FOR NOW ....

WHAT'S THE POINT in having a debate with a closed mind? The Washington Post's E.J. Dionne wants a debate on the fundamental (economic) issues affecting America. Here's how he formulates the spending issue:
The unemployment numbers would be much better without the massive loss of government jobs, and private-sector job growth would, in turn, be higher as those public workers spent money.
Is it even possible for Dionne to understand that those government jobs -- the public workers' 'spending money' -- came from the very pockets of the proles they want to spend it on? That has to be either the dumbest argument I've ever heard or a stalking horse for redistribution -- or both.
THE LONGER I FOLLOWED THE FOOD PYRAMID, the more I took on its shape.

SPRING FLOWERS

THERE HE GOES AGAIN: Krugman's failed economy.
COLLEGE STUDENTS: you can thank ObamaCare for your loss of health insurance.
ANDREW KLAVAN on logical consequences.
AMERICA is beginning to look a lot like Texas.
OBAMA: Nothing but excuses.
DEMOCRATS TO ENTREPENUERS: It's not your money.
IT'S TIME for tar and feathers. Since when do you arrest the victim for disturbing the mob?

MORE: He was apparently cited for 'holding a political sign above his head and causing a disturbance'. Here are some others who should be cited as well.
WHERE WILL YOU BE when the lights go out? Costa Rica. Plan A is to fight, but there always should be a Plan B.
