POLL: Most people unimpressed with their 2-week free trial of the New World Order.
DOUBLE-MASK MANIA Would you rather suffer from coronavirus (99% survival rate) or asphyxiation (0% survival rate)?

Yeah, I know. Both the question and answer are really dumb. But unfortunately the HealthScareTM professionals take this crap seriously.
I WROTE ON THE IDIOCY of the 'math is racist' meme yesterday.

John Hinderaker has more thoughts, the gist of which is encapsulated in this quote: "I suppose it would be possible to come up with a better plan to destroy black academic performance than by telling black students not to worry about getting the right answer to a math problem, but I can’t think what it would be."
COCKBURN: a short, handy guide to the new political language.
STAR PARKER: Opt out of Social Security for racial equity.

With all due respect to Ms. Parker -- and she's absolutely right about opting out -- opting out is not about racial equity; it's common sense for everyone regardless of race or income.

I've written extensively as far back as 13 years ago that Social Security is a bad deal with respect to retirement. Here are those arguments once again.
THE ANSWER SHOULD BE OBVIOUS. Who does a minimum wage hike really help — the poor, or those who push it out of self-interest?
YES, PLEASE: Introducing the OMAR act.
AMERICAN GREATNESS: The callous COVID cruelty of our ruling class.

The beatings will continue until morale improves....

One final point: When it comes to schools 'reopening' how many student athletes are going to lose 1 to 2 years of eligibility? And how will that affect their futures?
REP. LIZ CHENEY [R-WY]: Trump shouldn’t have a role as the leader of the party going forward. No, it's Liz Cheney who shouldn't have a leadership role in Trump's Republican party.

The American Thinker takes her on. Gist: Cheney is a " voter-hating, lie-promoting, phony conservative bounder".
AMERICAN GREATNESS: Our animal farm. It's Victor Davis Hanson, so read it all.

Nineteen Eighty-Four, Animal Farm, Brave New World, and other dystopian novels are the instruction manuals for the progressive Left.
POWERLINE: It isn't easy being blue.
No civilization lasts forever, and a society can be, simply, too stupid to survive. The “Defund the police” movement, which has been embraced by many mainstream Democratic Party politicians, is one of several phenomena that cause me to wonder whether we are dangerously close to that point.
It's John Hinderaker, and he's right.
BECAUSE SMALL BUSINESSES ARE A THREAT TO ITS CONTROL: The Left attacks Dolly Parton for her Super Bowl ad promoting small business.
SARAH HOYT writes on corrupted markets. It's long, but highly readable and well worth the time.

Read it all.
