A FEW FINAL THOUGHTS FOR TODAY:

Back again tomorrow.
TWEET OF THE DAY:
Where is that wall when you really need one?
IMPEACHMENTICIDE: turning a hollow victory in November into a humiliation in February.
FROM MY EMAIL:
A truth well spoken.
A SUGGESTION for Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico:
The state governments should institute a policy, initially by executive order, then endorsed and reinforced by legislative action, that anyone who crosses the border from Mexico must be hustled onto a bus that, when full, is driven directly to Washington, D.C., emptied, and returned to the border for more passengers.
I'd be a little more generous: the drop-off points could be all the major cities in every state that voted for Joe Biden in 2020. With Pseudodent Biden's new immigration policies, there should be an abundant supply for all.
IT'S HAPPENING: Ammo company tells Biden supporters to pound sand.
Q: Are you really discriminating against people who voted for Joe Biden?

A: Yes, we are, and for good reason. Joe Biden ran on a campaign built on the most radical gun control platform we've ever seen. If it was up to him and his administration, companies like ours wouldn't exist. If it was up to them, firearms and ammunition manufacturing would become a nationalized industry meant to serve only the military and police.

We are a company who believes in the Second Amendment as a first principle. The right to use basic human technology to prevent your life from being taken is something that transcends politics, but unfortunately, there is one particular political ideology who seems hell bent on disrupting this balance of power between the citizenry and the government.

If you voted for Biden, we suggest you become familiar with his campaign promises as it pertains to gun control so you never do that again, or, we suggest you sell your firearms to someone who is more interested in preserving the rights that make up the fabric of our nation.
I'd buy from them, but unfortunately they're also out of stock.

Update: I guess they made their point; their website no longer asks who you voted for.
NBC NEWS DARES TO ASK: How are the Dakotas doing so well against the coronavirus pandemic?

The author of the piece, Hot Air's Jazz Shaw, suggested that the reason is the relatively low population density of the two states. While that is certainly a factor, I suggest the real answer is that both Gov. Noem and Gov. Burgum saw the pandemic as a problem to be addressed while their blue-state counterparts in California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, etc. saw it as an opportunity to exploit.
A DOCTOR’S VIEW about the new mRNA vaccines. So, if you're older it's probably a good idea to get vaccinated; if you're younger, maybe not.
SMOKING GUN: Comey told Clapper FBI unable to 'sufficiently corroborate' Steele dossier — then signed FISA application.
BIDEN'S BASE, OBVIOUSLY: Who are the real one-percenters?
THE DIPLOMAD RETURNS with thoughts about the impeachment trial, technology, and 'experts'.
BUT, BUT ... it's nice fascism.

A HELICOPTER running on fossil fuel spraying a chemical made from fossil fuels onto a wind turbine made with fossil fuels during an ice storm is awesome.

BUT, BUT ...THE MAFIA HAS MORE HONOR AND DIGNITY: Fisking the Washington Post editor who is sad he doesn't get to act like the Mafia anymore.

Language warning: Larry Correia is blunt, and sometimes profane. This is both. But that said, dead-on accurate. Read it.

BIDEN’S FEDERAL VACCINE SITES unwelcome in many states.

But of course. Who needs 'vaccination pods' inconveniently located when there are literally thousands available and conveniently located -- we call them pharmacies. What are needed are the coronavirus vaccines.

Vaccination pods without vaccines are about as useful as tits on a boar hog; pharmacies, at least, are still useful even without vaccines.

IT'LL BE LATER: Sooner or later Pelosi must answer.

STUCK ON STUPID and doubling down on dumb.
The predictable response by the neoliberal establishment to the January 6 riot — cancel more people, ban more people, erase more voices, unpublish more books, fire more undesirables — is akin to seeking relief for hypertension by taking pills that raise one’s blood pressure.
Read it all.
ONLY IF THE DELINQUENTS ARE JAILED: Delinquency might just be the new normal.
MINNEAPOLIS decides to re-fund the police.
The city says it is looking for officers with degrees in criminology, social work, psychology or counseling. It occurs to me that the average police officer knows more about social work, psychology and counseling than most degree holders in those fields, but that is a topic for another day.
More from Fox News: Minneapolis move to defund the police backfires as residents complain about increased crime and slow police response times.
ON THE BRIGHTER SIDE: The cons are alright.
If freedom was easy, everyone would be doing it, and those of us who have read history from before 1619, and/or have resided outside this country can clarify for you that freedom as the natural state of man is mos def not the case.

No one is going to give us anything but serfdom – you can have as much of that as you want, and gratis. But freedom has to be taken, one GOP state reforming its election laws at a time, one new conservative-friendly social media venue at a time, one action-packed and conservative-oriented series at a time.

My guess is that Donald Trump has played his (crucial) role and will move on after humiliating the Democrats again by scoffing at their latest puny impeachment. He will be a kingmaker and an important asset in bringing forward the new blood we need to re-energize us. Populism had a tough four years. We’ll take a breather for a bit, then charge. Look at our bench! Ric Grenell, Kristi Noem, Ron DeSantis, Rick Scott, and many more. Look at our expanding network of media outlets, not least of which is Townhall. Look at the new voices we’re seeing, often from the world of podcasting, and often of people who became at least conservative-curious because they saw the failures of the left (Tim Pool, Michael Malice, Adam Carolla, Joe Rogan).

And look at the doddering, failing enemy, presiding over the collapsing Potemkin village that is the failed Establishment.
Yes, the conservatives are all right.
IT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FOLLOW THE 'SCIENCE': An emerging and tragic side effect of COVID has hit San Francisco.
POWERLINE: If the Republicans win bigly in 2022 [they will], should they impeach Biden and Harris?
I am undecided. The answer will be determined by the landscape as it exists two years hence, which at present, we cannot foresee. What we can say for certain is that the Democrats, with their two absurd impeachments of President Trump, have decisively changed how we all must view impeachment, if not forever, certainly for the foreseeable future.
I'm inclined to say 'yes' for the simple reason that the Democrats need to learn -- the hard way, obviously -- that their light saber can be used against them as well. They didn't learn with the filibuster (twice!), so the Republicans might as well add the threat of impeachment to their toolbox as well.

Sometimes it takes a 2x4 to the head....
