NOT AN ACCUSATION, A FACT: Smithsonian accused of replacing education with activism.
When we lived in the D.C. metro area we visited both the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History (opened in 2003) and the National Museum of the American Indian (opened in 2004).
The African American History museum was obviously 'woke' even then. The American Indian museum was so outrageously bad we didn't even bother to go past the first couple of exhibits.
And this was 20-plus years ago. I can only imagine how much worse it has gotten.
