GOOD GRIEF.

We might start by trying to make it easier to get out of houses, as well as stay in them. Instead of encouraging people to throw their savings into hopeless modifications, maybe the government should be trying to streamline the process of arranging for a short sale so that people can walk away with a little savings in the bank (and on their credit report) to help them get a fresh start.
What a novel idea. Help people become independent of government ....

TAX PREPARERS to see new IRS regulations requiring competency tests.

Before they start regulating H&R Block, perhaps the IRS should get their own house in order.

Or is the goal to have H&R increase its error rate to match IRS’s 34% error rate?
WHAT’S MORE IMPORTANT? Keeping terrorists off airplanes or unionizing the Transportation Security Administration?
