IT'S NOW ABOUT 3 PM, and the stock markets are still up about two-tenths percent for the day, yet down from the early market peak of about a half percent.

IT'S OVER: eight years of Obama.

Note the sharp spike in approval just before the 2012 and 2016 elections. Surprising to me, since the numbers are remarkably consistent except for the two elections.

The Trump Approval Index now begins: +2 on January 20, 2017.

IT'S A LITTLE AFTER 2 PM, and I'm watching the protestors rioters trying to disrupt the inaugural parade. Ninety arrests so far, hopefully many more to come.
