BREAST MILK not the best milk?

Worth a read if only for the comments. The accumulated wisdom of an army of Davids is worth the stroll.
PRACTICE SAFE GOVERNMENT. ”[O]ur best hope of economic recovery is a prophylactic that keeps bureaucrats out of taxpayers' pockets.”

It's called an election.
A TERRORIST nearly brings down an airliner and ...

[T]he bureaucrats at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) swung into action with a whole new range of restrictions. Against radical Yemen-trained Muslims wearing weaponized briefs? Of course not. That would be too obvious. So instead they imposed a slew of constraints against you. At Heathrow last week, they were permitting only one item of carry-on on U.S. flights. In Toronto, no large purses.

Um, the Pantybomber didn't have a purse. He brought the bomb on board under his private parts, and his private parts weren't part of his carry-on (although, if reports of injuries sustained in his failed mission are correct, they may well have been part of his carry-off). But no matter. If in doubt, blame the victim. The TSA announced that for the last hour of the flight no passenger can use the toilets or have anything on his lap - not a laptop, not a blanket, not a stewardess, not even a paperback book.
... as always, the response is to blame the victim and punish the innocent.
A VISUAL METAPHOR for Obamanomics:

Backwards. Exactly backwards.
OBAMA AS GREEK TRAGEDY: Victor Davis Hanson on the self-centered protagonist.
The blueprint of a Sophoclean or even Euripidean tragedy is pretty straightforward. A confident, cocky tragic hero for about the first 600 lines of the play exhibits unconstrained exuberance as he takes on the world.
Then comes the inevitable fall. It would be a most enjoyable movie, except that it isn’t a movie, and The Won is likely to take him with us. Stay tuned for Part II.
SOMEONE LEFT THE IRONY ON: “[T]he failed state of California and its desperate need to use federal Porkulus money [is] getting tripped up by the very bureaucracy that has caused the Golden State to teeter into bankruptcy.”

Heh. "Someone left the irony on." What a wonderful play on words ....
