WUHAN FLU [CORONAVIRUS] UPDATE for September 4, 2020:

Some good news, finally. The charts still look same old, same old but the trends are clearly on a downward trajectory. Deaths remain near a 1,000/day nationally but for the last 10 days or so the 7- and 14- day smoothed dats is below the 1,000 mark and the trend is clearly down.

My estimate of the death rate is still climbing slightly, now at 0.0581% and I don't expect it to level off and begin dropping again until the daily deaths drop consistently below about 900.

As I noted in my last report, the coronavirus outbreak in Georgia appears over. Confirmed cases, daily deaths, and hospitalizations continue to decline.
