CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: The latest numbers I've seen indicate that globally more than 76,000 people have been infected in 27 countries, and more than 2,200 have died.

The latest update from the Centers for Disease Control show that for the 2019-2020 flu season, there have been 29 million cases, 280,000 hospitalizations, and 16,000 deaths in the U.S. alone.

Those numbers suggest to me that the coronavirus outbreak is - shall we say - overhyped? I'm reminded of Rahm Emanuel's "never let a serious crisis go to waste" comment.

Even if you have to create one....
