SO NOW global warming causes asthma. May I suggest a simpler hypothesis? Air conditioning causes an increase in asthma by not exposing people -- especially young children -- to allergens sufficiently to develop their resistance. Older folks, like me, don't seem to have the allergy problems of later generations who grew up in air-conditioned environments instead of being outdoors all day long.
