HERE'S A VIDEO of firefighting air tankers refilling their aircraft from the waters of Lake Travis west of Austin, Texas. To give an idea of the severity of the drought in central Texas, the lake level is down 47 feet. The 'islands' that are visible are normally under 40' or more of water.
