DR. NO: ”Death Panels” and health care reform.

I have no quarrel with the gist of the article: resources are limited; costs are high; and rationing in some form is the only reasonable answer.

I do have a quarrel with the process - government intervention. If there is to be any rationing of my medical care - and there will - then I will be the one - the only one - empowered to say no. If I must say no due to lack of ability to pay, then so be it. But I will be the one who decides.
