AUTUMN LEAVES, November 26:

This is the final view of 2017. Winter is here, at least as far as Noture is concerned. The deck view is the same as last week, only the morning haze has gone.

The driveway view is also unchanged, just a little sharper without the haze.

The pond view was taken from much higher up the stairway (lazy me) but shows the same - no leaves left and a much sharper view without the morning fog that's pretty regular this time of year.

AUTUMN LEAVES, November 19:

Here's this weeks view of the onset of winter. From the deck, the only difference from last week is more haze and more leaves on the ground.

From the driveway, there is a bit more leaf clutter post last week's cleaning, and a few more down from the trees.

The same lack of change is evident in the pond view as well, even though the vantage point is a bit further down the stair. There simply are no more leaves to drop.

Finally, here's a view of our home from across the pond.

I cleared (by hand!) all the property to the right of the stair this year. Next year I think I'll let the property to the left of the stair alone....
