JUST THE POINT I've been making for months now:
I’ll note that pride and envy seem to play a major role in the NeverTrump movement in general: Pride in (self-proclaimed) moral superiority, and envy of Trump’s accomplishments, which make him by any reasonable measure the most conservative president of my lifetime. I’d suggest some self-reflection on this point.
Hubris, meet Nemesis.
MSNBC'S JOY REID: Those racists who live in the Heartland aren't voting for the racist Democrat party.

I wonder why....
AMERICAN THINKER: Is 2020 the end of the Democrat party?

I hope so, and to paraphrase Victor Davis Hanson, "Hubris met Nemesis - and lost".
HEH: MSNBC is advertising its New Hampshire primary election coverage on the Fox News cable network.

Doesn't say much for MSNBC's ratings, does it?

DAY BY DAY: Never ever ... ever ... vote for a Democrat.
AND IF YOU DON'T VOTE, WE'LL DO IT FOR YOU. California proposes mandatory voting.

As usual, California has it completely wrong. Voting should be discretionary and it should be hard to vote.

As a voter, you should be required to show up, in person, with a valid picture ID, proof of citizenship, and proof of residency in your voting district in order to register.

Voting should be in person, at a designated voting location, within a designated time period, with picture identification, proof of prior registration, and using a paper ballot. Absentee voting should be permitted only with prior proof that the voter cannot be at the designated polling location within the designated time period.

In simpler language, voting is an act that should properly be restricted to those who take their citizenship responsibilities seriously.
CALIFORNIA IS AN INFECTIOUS DISEASE: Homelessness continues to grow in the state capitol of Texas. As a former Austinite, the current problem stems in large part from Texas' decision some 30 years ago to to recruit [very liberal] high-tech businesses from Californiaa without first considering the unintended consequences. Now the rats are https://duckduckgo.com/?q=running+rampant&t=ffab&ia=definition running rampant through a sinking ship.

Instead of going to court to redress the homeless problems, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott might be better served by calling in the CDC (Centers for Disease & Prevention. Quarantine is a poor option, but it may be the only one left.
UNLESS YOU'RE STILL IN THE WOMB. Abortion proponent Elizabeth Warren celebrates the 'worth of every single human being'.

Hypocrite? Stupid? Or just plain clueless?

In a strange way, Elizabeth Warren's policy positions remind me of the plot for the 1993 movie Grooundhog Day. In the movie, every day was completely independent of every other day; in Elizabeth Warren's campaign, every policy position is completely independent every other policy position - there is no connection whatever from one day/position to the next day/position.

I'M STILL NOT TIRED OF WINNING: Three glorious days of Democrat agony.
NOTICE HOW MOTHER NATURE SEEMS PERFECTLY CAPABLE OF TAKING CARE OF HER PLANET? Fungi that eats radiation found inside Chernobyl nuclear reactor.

And, I might point out, she cleans forests without killing 500 million inhabitants.
GOOD RIDDANCE: Key impeachment witness Alexander Vindman expects to leave White House post.

NOW OVERCOME BY EVENTS: Vindman and some of his like-minded colleagues have been shown the White House [exit] door. It's about time - the chutzpah of these deep-state clowns thinking that they are the puppeteers and the President the puppet.

Dump them all, and for God's sake, Mr. President, don't replace them.
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Remembering the farming way.

I'm old enough to look back on the 'farming way' fondly. That was a time when people stood on their own two feet, for better or worse. They didn't require a government-sponsored nanny overlooking their every move.

It was a better time in many ways.
IT MUST HAVE BEEN A TORTURE WORSE THAN WATERBOARDING: Watching the State of the Union address with Maxine Waters and clueless Democrats.
CAN THEY REALLY BE THAT STUPID? MSNBC anchor asks if gerrymandering could break Republican hold on Senate.

Well, yes. Yes, they can.
WELL, HE IS IN HARVARD: David Hogg proves (yet again) that he's dumb.
THE WORST MOMENTS of Trump's State of the Union speech for Democrats.
SO WHICH IS IT? Trump critics denounce pro-Trump blacks as 'sellouts' — while criticizing Trump for not having more 'sellouts'.

Hypocrisy is the Left's defining characteristic. Well, that and double standards....
WELL, LAWN FURNITURE will do less damage to America than the current crop of Democrat presidential candidates.
