TURNABOUT IS FAIR PLAY: "I don’t know, has it been proven ‘not factual’ that Eric Swalwell isn’t buggering little boys?"

THE PLATFORM FROM PLUTO: 'Universal' income, court-packing, the Green New Deal and other idiocies.
Pluto's not far enough out; I'd suggest the Oort cloud; the Kuiper Belt is too close to contain them.

CAPITALIST JUSTICE WARRIOR:
While Congress talks, President Trump has laid the groundwork for parental leave, infertility coverage, a dependent care flexible spending account match, bereavement leave, a vacation purchase program, adoption assistance, domestic partner health coverage, health care continuation for work-related fatalities, and gender reassignment procedure coverage -- without enacting a single law, regulation, or mandate. Here's how.
THE REAL THREAT TO OUR REPUBLIC: Democrats don’t believe in the sanctity of rules or law and order, they believe in winning at all costs.

KEVIN D. WILLIAMSON on Sandy's War.
[W]e have the grand game of make-believe and moral dress-up, in which Field Marshal Sandy (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) rallies her troops on Twitter in the service of a half-organized bouquet of slogans and prejudices that no mentally normal adult — and there are still a few of those around — takes quite seriously. The purported goal of the great national deployment isn’t the point — the deployment itself is. It is an excuse for a great deal of noise and running in circles and excitation and displays of Very High Moral Seriousness that is its own reason for being. Sandy’s war is not a struggle over the future of Earth — it is only a struggle over the future of Sandy....Read it all.

SENATE REJECTS 'NEW GREEN DEAL' 0-57. Forty-three Democrats Cowards voted 'present'.
Since the current Senate breakdown is 53 Republicans, 45 Democrats, and 2 Independents (who caucus with the Democrats), we now know that there are at most only 4 Democrats/Independents with spines.

SPRING LIVES: Episode 2 of the series.
Here's week 2 in this year's edition. This picture is a slightly cropped version of my usual 'view from the back' deck photo to show that the shrubs are actually beginning to flower as they bud out. The color is a very vivid pink; it just doesn't show well in this photo (I should have cropped it more - my bad).
The next picture is another of the pond, taken from about midway down the stairs (about the location of the bench in the photo above).
The trees are beginning to show some signs of life here and there, but for the most part are still barren. But by the time summer fully arrives, the pond will be mostly obscured except for the dock area at the near side of the pond.
The last photo is of the house from the far side of the pond - that section we call the boat launch area even though I doubt a boat other than the pedal boat has ever been launched from there.
The house is clearly visible at the top of the hill, but again, by summer it will be totally obscured by the foliage. Till next week, then.

NOTHING IS WORTH WATCHING MSNBC: It’s almost worth turning on MSNBC to see how they’re taking Sarah Sanders on the ‘complete exoneration’ of President Trump.
