IF THE GM BAILOUT is such a success, why can’t it pay back its debt to taxpayers?

ELIZABETH WARREN, Native American. What annoys me about Elizabeth Warren -- and race-baiters generally -- is that she's perfectly happy to claim 'victim' status but wouldn't lower herself to go to, or live on, a 'Native American' reservation herself.

Hell, the entire U.S. is looking more like a prison system. But our 'controllers' will argue that we have to be protected from ourselves....

RANDOM THOUGHTS from the retirement lane: life as a cat butler.

I was on the front porch this morning, enjoying the beautiful weather here. We have four doors exiting the house; two of the four were open to let the cats move freely in and out. Shadow came up to me and demanded to be let in the front door, which was one of the closed doors.
WHERE'S WHITE HISTORY MONTH?

Or better yet, where is American History month?

RANDOM THOUGHTS from the retirement lane. On spreading the wealth around.

It has been the mantra of the Obama administration for over 3 years that government is needed to 'spread the wealth' from the richest 1% to those who really need it (Solyndra, etc.).

So I've been thinking -- over the past three months, I've been having some major renovation done on my house, and I believe I've been much more successful than Obama in spreading the wealth. As a result of my efforts, my contractor is wealthier, his subcontractors are wealthier, the tile vendor is wealthier, the kitchen appliance manufacturer is wealthier, the bathroom and kitchen fixture manufacturers are wealthier, the siding manufacturer is wealthier, and I'm wealthier.

I did it in just 3 months. And I'm not one of the 1%.

EXPLAINING THE DEBT CEILING:
Let's say you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood. Your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings. What do you think you should do?
Raise the ceilings?
Or pump out the crap?
Your choice is coming this November. Don't miss the opportunity.
