WHY DO SO MANY ATTACKS ON TRUMP involve individuals with mental health issues?

Democrats?

I see two fundamental options: (1) we can either kill them as the rabid and incurable animals they are or (2) confine them involuntarily to mental hospitals. My personal preference is the latter but current trends lead (to me, at least) toward option 1. Are there any state-run insane asylums left?
