SPRING LEAVES 2026, Week Three: As usual, we begin with the pond and fire pit views and, as to be expected, not much has changed except for the sun angle.

Our bellwether forsythia, which blossomed in full yellow even before I started taking pictures this year, is now almost fully green. The trees behind and to the south still haven't begun to bud out yet -- at least not visibly.

The same is true of the trees to the north, except that flowers and other plants along the fence line are perking up nicely.

So are the yards as our barn cat (Tuxedo) surveys his property

And finally, a look back at our house and the (bare) forest behind us.
