BUZZ’S BEDTIME STORIES: 'Ascension Island'

An interesting article. From my personal 'wayback machine', I made several trips to Ascension by C-124 way back in the early1960's, including one where the aircraft had to turn back just short of midway between Recife, Brazil, and Ascension island due an engine failure. It took 3 days to have a new engine brought from the U.S. and installed so we could continue our mission.
