WAS THE POLIO VACCINE A KILLER, not a saviour?
This is personally interesting to me, given that (I believe) I had polio in 1954, the year before the Salk vaccine was introduced and in the middle of the 'DDT years' from 1940 to 1960. If so, I was lucky; I had a mild case of the bulbar strain.
And completely recovered -- until I discovered post-polio syndrome in my mid-60's. Mostly I've come to live with post-polio; it's progressive and debilitating, but not fatal.
So I have had polio - the question is whether or not it was caused by the vaccine. Prior to COVID, I was sure I was 'lucky'. With the post-COVID revelations, I'm now not so sure.
Thanks to Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Public HealthScareTM community (CDC/etc.), my trust is now close to zero.
