WE'VE NOTICED: The Inflation Reduction Act has created the largest ever premium increase in Medicare drug benefits.

In 2023 my wife and I paid $676.80 in Part D premiums. We paid $868.01 for prescription drugs; Medicare Part D paid $0.10. That's right, 10 cents. This year, 2024, we will pay $802.80 (a 19% increase) for coverage. To date we have paid $89.70 for prescriptions; Part D has paid none.

A 19% increase for nothing.
