VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Our establishment's alternate realities.

For what it's worth (not much, I know) I would highly recommend at least the first few chapters of Heinlein's (1970) book I Will Fear No Evil to begin to understand our current 'woke' -- and severely disfunctional -- society.
