CDC DIRECTOR: Monkeypox spread through 'sustained face-to-face contact', so now the CDC wants to have its authority to issue mask mandates restored.

The U.S. case total (so far) is 49; Hawaii has 3 cases and health officials are concerned it may be 'spreading unchecked'.

It's clear that mask mandates are in the plan for the mid-terms.
