THE [USED TO BE HANDY] WEATHER APP on my smart(?) phone has now been upgraded to provide National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather advice, to wit:

For the county in which I reside, in the next two days I can expect rain, freezing rain, sleet (no hail?) and/or snow -- or not, unless I live below 1500 altitude, in which I can expect rain, freezing rain, sleet (no hail?) but not snow -- or not.

My options are to 'avoid the subject event' (run?) or cower under the bed with the dust bunnies.

The 'we must be scared' virus is proving to be highly infectious in the bureaucratic nanny-state idiot community.
