RANDOM OBSERVATION: I'm still waiting for those high winds -- gusts to (gasp!) 45 mph -- that the weather channel has been predicting all day.

An interesting definition -- where I came from (high desert in NM and CA) 45 mph winds were considered a light breeze. To be fair though, it is considerably higher than the fan speeds of a typical air handler in the forecasters' cozy air conditioned quarters.

And a dead branch did in fact fall in the road outside....
