THE SPACE-X STARSHIP SAGA:

ALMOST: Starship 8 explodes on landing. But otherwise flawless; the 'belly flop' descent and reorientation burn were proven stable.

STARSHIP 9 FLIGHT DELAYED by FAA safety review.

SPACEX VIOLATED ITS LAUNCH LICENSE in Starship 8 test, triggering an FAA probe. But the FAA refused to say what the violation was.

STARSHIP 9 again explodes on landing after flawless flight.

It does appear that there is a systemic problem in the Starship design related to the reorientation burn that occurs just before landing. Starship 10 is already on the launch pad but I rather suspect that the problem is more serious than let on publicly and the next launch will not be soon.
