NEAR REAL-TIME IMAGES of the Mars rover Persistence landing on the surface of Mars.

I've been watching the space programs since Sputnik and Project Vanguard in 1957. The progress has been incredible in that 70-something year span - from just barely putting a grapefruit-sized sphere in low Earth orbit to watching (almost) live as a semi-autonomous research vehicle lands on another planet.

Amazing.
