GOV. GREG ABBOTT TO TEXAS CITIES: Defund the police and we’ll freeze property taxes.

I like the idea of defunding cities that attempt to defund the police, but I'm not convinced freezing property taxes is the way to go - in Texas property taxes are so high that many property owners would resist 'unfreezing' them even after the police departments were fully funded.
