WUHAN FLU [CORONAVIRUS] UPDATE for May 14, 2020:

'Same old, same old' still applies. The daily death rate is stable to declining and the cumulative numbers are still showing the curve bending.

Confirmed cases of coronavirus remain steady at about 14% of the total tested.

The estimated death rate is up a bit today at 0.1075%. For a somewhat shocking comparison given the current pan(ic)demic, the CDC's published (average) seasonal flu death rate for the 8 flu seasons from 2010-2011 through 2017-2018 is 0.136%. For 2018-2019 it is 0.096%, although the number has yet to be finalized. For 2019-2020, the estimate was 0.091% on April 4th.

The estimated percentage of Americans not yet infected is still decreasing, at 75.554% today.
