I think it's time for the 'same old, same old' phrase again. Both cumulative and daily death curves are flat/decreasing slightly. The Coronavirus Dashboard is also showing the same pattern.
The estimated death rate is 0.1064%, trending down again, and the estimated percentage of Americans not yet infected is still decreasing, at 77.026% today.
I've also begun looking at coronavirus testing, since the COVID-19 website also tracks tests on a daily basis. On April 5th, 5 weeks ago, 18.9% of tests were declared positive; today it is 14.7%. Since it's not clear what's being tested for (virus? antibodies?) and how widespread the testing is, these percentages strike me as interesting factoids of no particular significance.
