KIRSTEN GILLIBRAND: Enact a 'public option' (i.e., Medicare for all) and Americans will ditch private insurance.
Oddly enough, she may be right, but only because Medicare (as it is today) is the closest thing available to the traditional fee-for-service/catastrophic hospitalization indemnity insurance that most of us want, assuming that private insurance remains bound to the ObamaCare regulations.
