THE GREEN NEW DEAL IS INSPIRING ... laughter. Rolling on the floor with tears in your eyes laughter.

By the end of the Green New Deal resolution (and accompanying fact sheet) I was laughing so hard I nearly cried. If a bunch of GOPers plotted to forge a fake Democratic bill showing how bonkers the party is, they could not have done a better job.

And then there's the cost. For the sake of argument, let's assume that the Green New Deal is possible within the proposed time frame (Stop laughing!). Further, assume that money is just ink on paper (Dammit, I said stop laughing!). I seriously doubt there are enough trees in the U.S. to make the paper to print the money needed.
