NEW CARS are good at nagging but not at warning.

Most new cars have warning buzzers for half a dozen different things. Just not for the important things.

Like, for instance, total loss of engine coolant.

Read it all, and I would note that the same is true of owner's manuals, which is why they're mostly unread until the owner is desperate.
