JEFF JACOBY: The citizenship question isn't the only one the Census should scrap.

I disagree on the citizenship question. The sole original purpose of the census is to allocate seats in the House of Representatives; only citizens (and perhaps legal immigrants who have entered the naturalization process) should be counted. Illegals are burdens for the states to reckon with.

On the other points, I agree. Government, mind your own damn business. Whether or not I have the latest ecologically sound toilets is not your concern.
