NYC POLICE COMMISSIONER says it would be “insanity” for the feds to force one state to recognize another’s lax gun laws. What this morally superior pinhed of a law enforcement officer has failed to recognize is that those of us who have gone to the trouble to acquire concealed carry permits (from whatever state) have typically thought long and hard about the responsibility that choice entails.
As a favorite fictional character of mine once said of such bumptiousness, "Son, suppose you tend to your knitting and I tend to mine."
