IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG: Urgent calls begin for Scalia autopsy. Faster than I had expected, as a matter of fact. That said, though, autopsies should be routine in the event of unexpected deaths of government officials for the sole purpose of dispelling conspiracy theories as soon as possible.
Authorities need to remember that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" but they rarely do -- especially if the burden of prevention falls on them.
