THE STUFF OF NIGHTMARES:

Biden takes the Democrat nomination for President. He asks Obama, who can’t run for President again because he has already had two terms, to be his running mate. Obama accepts.

Biden is elected President and thus Obama is Vice President. This sails along for a short period of time and then Biden resigns. Who becomes President? Obama! This appears to be perfectly legal as Obama was elected to the office of Vice President. No violation of the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution.

Obama is back in power again.
