ENTITLEMENTS AND CRONY CAPITALISM: ObamaPhone use in Maryland has grown 100-fold in 3 years.

Six-hundred-and-forty-five thousand Maryland residents had so-called ObamaPhones in 2012 — one hundred times as many people as there were in 2009, and double the number in that state who are supposed to be eligible for the program based on their income.

Ten bucks a month times 12 months times 645,000 (one in 10 Marylanders, by the way) is a fair chunk of change. Most of which goes to the crony capitalists who cozy up to the regulators.
